How can I find peace with God? Many of us lack peace in our lives for all kinds of reasons. We may also feel that God is not doing anything to solve our problems. However, the Bible teaches us that the opposite is true. God is seeking us. God longs to be close to us.
He also promises in His Holy Word, through the prophet Isaiah : “You keep him in perfect peace, the one whose mind is stayed on you, (God), because he trusts in you “
In Jesus’ teaching in the video clip, Jesus likens God to a shepherd who will leave all his sheep to go and find one sheep that is lost. Definitely God is interested in the people he created. He is seeking us!
Think about the closeness between the shepherd and the sheep when it is found. Think about the
peace and safety the sheep experiences. This is what God desires for each one of us.

1 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So he told them this parable: 4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbours, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
